PURPOSE:To enable a correct measurment of the thickness and bend of a pipe by equipping with two detectors for detecting each displacement and a calculator calculating the thickness and bend based on the output signals transmitted from both detectors. CONSTITUTION:Accelerometers 9, 10 are fitted with respective detecting direction as a vertical direction at the position approaching a supporting cylinder 24 of a measuring rod 4 which is on the upper part of the measuring rod and above an arm 21. Both accelerometers 9, 10 detect in an acceleration quantity the motion in vertical direction of the measuring rod 4 and the motion in vertical direction of the arm 21, i.e., the tip part of a measuring implement 20 respectively and the detecting signal is read into a calculator 12 at the prescribed intervals. The accelerometers 10, 9 detect in acceleration the motion in vertical direction of the measuring implement 20 and measuring rod 4 and the calculator 12 integrates twice the input signals transmitted from the both respectively. The displacements of a pole 25 and the measuring rod 4 are found thereby and from the difference in respective displacement of the both the quantities of thickness and bend are correctly found. |
