PURPOSE:To permit effective utilization of a wall space by making the time signal synchronize a specified position detecting signal each time an arm having light emitting elements arranged thereon turns to light the light emitting elements with the synchronization of the signals. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is provided with an arm 1 in which light emitting elements 2-7 are arranged to display time, minute and second separately by lighting them, photodiodes 12 and 13 which generate a position detecting signal each time the arm 1 passes each of positions equally divided into 60 on a rotary plane of the arm 1 and a timepiece circuit 32 for outputting a standard time signal. Then, a control circuit 33 which receives time, minute and second signals to be outputted from the timepiece circuit 32 and position detecting signals of the photodiodes 12 and 13 is provided to make each of the signals of the timepiece circuit 32 synchronize a specified position detecting signal each time the arm 1 turns. Moreover, a lighting circuit 34 is directed to light the light emitting elements 2-7 with the synchronization of the signals. |
