PURPOSE:To minimize the quantity of heat released through glass surfaces and contrive prevention of lowering in heat-collecting efficiency of a solar heat collector, by providing a heating element in each air layer provided between glass plates, thereby raising the temperature of the layer. CONSTITUTION:In a main body 1 of the collector provided on a slant surface of the roof of a house, the heating element 8 consisting of, for example, a black iron or steel plate and capable of generating heat as rapidly as possible upon receiving solar rays is provided at a lower part of the air layer 5 provided between the glass sheets 6, 7. With the heating element 8 provided, the temperature of the air layer 5 can be raised above the temperature obtained in a conventional system. Accordingly, of the heat E1 generated in the collector, the portion (E1-E2') released through the surfaces of the glass plates 6, 7 by heat conduction can be reduced, and the portion E2' capable of being taken off from the collector can be relatively increased. |
