PURPOSE:To perform efficiently front-covered saddle stitching book binding by supplying a front cover form set in a front cover cassette to a stitcher which folds forms copied from originals into two and makes saddle stitching, and binding a book. CONSTITUTION:Originals are sent out onto a contact glass surface 3 from an original tray 6 in specific order with the top up and down and copied by a copying machine 25. The copying machine 25 transfers an image which is developed 26 on a photosensitive body 28 to forms P from a form cassette 2 and the image is fixed 34. The forms are folded at a two-folding part 45, and sent to the stitcher 58 and stacked. The forms P select various routes of an intermediate tray 39 and an inverting part 35 so that the pages of the originals coincide with the page of copy paper when the forms are stitched together. Then, a front cover form set in the form cassette is supplied and stacked on the uppermost layer part at the stitcher 58 and two-fold saddle stitches are made. Thus, the front-covered saddle stitching edition is carried out efficiently. |
