<p>PURPOSE:To record not only the TV broadcast but other external video or sound signals through the set reservation, by using a selection switch which changes the input sources in response to the reservation set to a timepiece device and providing an input source selection function to a reserved video recording function. CONSTITUTION:In case a TV broadcast is designated as an input signal source, a timepiece device 14 issues a video recording command 5 to a video recording mechanism 1 to start the video recording at a set time point. At the same time, the device 14 also issues an input source selection control signal 8 to an input selection switch 7 almost concurrently with the command 5. A channel selection command 6 is also delivered to a channel selector 3 almost concurrently with the signal 8. When an external signal is reserved, the command 5 is issued to the mechanism 1. At the same time, the switch 7 sends an external input signal 9 to the mechanism 1. Thus a desired external broadcast is recorded in a desired time band.</p> |
