<p>PURPOSE:To record on a continuous moving body excellently by opening and closing a microshutter which has normally on type liquid crystals in a dot array at frequencies lower and higher than a cross frequency based upon the anisotropy of a liquid crystal agent as zero. CONSTITUTION:A data signal from a recording control circuit which is not shown in a figure is inputted to a liquid-crystal optical shutter 13 to open and close the mu shutter 15. When it is open, light is passed to form an image on an unshown photosensitive drum to the same size with the mu shutter 15. The liquid crystal shutter 13 is formed by arraying mu shutters zigzag in two lines. The photosensitive drum rotates at a speed (v) as shown by an arrow 16. The length of a mu shutter 15 in the direction of the arrow 16 is L, length perpendicular to the arrow is l, and pitch is (p). Then, the advance in one write period TW, vTW is equalized to L. When a mu shutter is opened for a time TL, an area L+vTL is exposed. The length L of the mu shutter 15 is set less than v(2TW-TL) to obtain black dots having no density difference.</p> |
