PURPOSE:To perform an inspection with higher sensibility with shortening the interval between a detecting head and the body to be inspected by providing a means for detecting a bent nose. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from an irradiating device 1 is reflected on the surface of a body 2 to be inspected, received by a light detector 3 and the information of the condition of the surface of the body 2 to be inspected is obtd., if the shape of the body 2 to be inspected is normal. Since the body 2 to be inspected is rotated in the peripheral direction by a turning roller 5, the condition information on the prescribed area of the surface of the body 2 to be inspected is obtainable by the scanning in the axial direction of the body 2 to be inspected with the irradiating device 1. In case of a bent nose being caused on the body 2 to be inspected, a position detector 6 is ascended due to its contact with the nose bending part and moves a linking mechanism 7 to an arrow direction. Since the approaching of the body 2 to be inspected and the inspecting head is made to be detected and the inspecting head is made to be separated from the body to be inspected, there is no fear of damages due to collision, also the distance between the inspecting head and the body to be inspected can be shortened and the detecting sensibility can be elevated. |
