PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of water from a footpath by a method in which partition plates are set in a lapping manner on the widthwise central portion of a footpath-forming area in a paddy field in such a way that one side of the widthwise direction of the partition plate is projected from the surface of the paddy field and the partition plate is buried to form a footpath. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 1 of steel plate is set on the widthwise central portion in a footpath-forming area in such a way that the upper end of the plate 1 is partly projected from a paddy field B to above and the lower end partly reaches the tilling base layer (b) of the field B. The recession 2a of a footpath structure 2 of concrete, etc., is inserted into the upper end of the plate 1 to set up the structure 2, and the plate 1 is buried by the structure 2. Instead of setting up the structure 2, footpath A may be formed by piling up soil. The intrusion of a mole and the leakage of water can thus be prevented by the use of the plate 1. |
