<p>PURPOSE:To attain an optional selection and display of positions and colors with an input operation by storing previously the monitor information on the numbers of monitor subjects, display characters, etc. and updating and displaying said monitor information according to the state information read out of the monitor subject. CONSTITUTION:A monitor device 3 is connected to a programmable controller PC1 via an interface 2, and the working state of the PC1 is monitored by a CRT10. Each contact to be monitored, the coil numbers and the information A on the positions, colors, etc. on the display screen of the CRT10 are previously supplied to a memory 6 of the device 3 from a keyboard 9 and stored there. At the same time, the information B showing the contacts of monitor subjects given from the PC1 and the coil ON/OFF state is also stored to the memory 6. Then the keyboard 9 gives a command when the monitor is started, and a screen is displayed to the CRT10 based on the information of the memory 6. The displays are switched at the designated positions on the CRT10 for each ON/OFF information on the monitor subject.</p> |
