PURPOSE:To prevent a fault caused by a defect of a signal converter by forming plural optical/electric signal converters connected to a high voltage circuit into a group and applying optical signals to the group of said converters from plural electric/optical signal converters which are arranged at a low potential side to increase the redundancy. CONSTITUTION:Two electric/optical signal converters 21 and 22 corresponding to optical/electric signal converters 41 and 42 belonging to the 1st high potential group are provided at the low potential side. The optical signal given from the converter 21 is sent to the converter 41 by a light guide 31 consisting of an insulated material. While the optical signal supplied from the converter 22 is sent to the converter 42 by a light guide 32 consisting of an insulated material. An optical signal is sent to an optical/electric signal converter 43 of the 2nd high potential group formed adjacently to the 1st group from the converter 21 by a light guide 33. In the same way, an optical signal is sent to an optical/electric signal converter 44 from the converter 22 via light guide 34.
