An apparatus for automatically cutting gas with a power breaking function is provided to prevent explosion due to the damage and the overturn of a cutter by pushing a gas cutter limit switch by the load of a touch bar. An apparatus for automatically cutting gas with a power breaking function includes a bogie(10), an operating clip(40), a limit switch, a central guide, and a touch bar. The bogie(10) is moved along a guide rail and has a gas hose(11) and a torch unit(12). The gas hose(11) supplies the gas to cut a slab. The torch unit(12) is connected to the gas hose(11). The operating clip(40) is installed on a top surface of a supporting plate(40) to move in a cutting direction of the slab. The limit switch is installed on a top part of the operating clip(40) to break the power of the bogie(10). The central guide has a guide groove to move up and down on the central part of the operating clip(40). The touch bar is positioned on a top part of the limit switch by being formed extendedly on a top part of an operation bar to automatically push the limit switch by load.
