<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to turn the direction of a bag in which a hole is made by a needle to relieve air therefrom without the bag being deformed, by arranging a vacuum absorption type direction turning device provided with the needle on one side of a pool belt conveyor. CONSTITUTION:When bags (g) which are transferred at fixed pitches on belts 2 of fixed pitch belt conveyers c1 to a direction turning belt conveyor c2 arrive at a position below a vacuum absorption type direction turning device V, the direction turning belt conveyor c2 comes to a stop. Meanwhile, an absorbing pad 43 lowers due to the lowering of a piston in an elevating cylinder 32, to make a hole in each bag (g) with the use of a needle. Simultaneously, a vacuum pump is started to suck air from the bag (g) and to absorb and hold the bag (g) itself onto the lower surface of the absorbing pad 43. Then, a turning cylinder 38 is driven to rotate the absorbing pad 43 by a predetermined angle, and thereafter a vacuum pump is communicated with the atmospheric air to removed the bag (g) from the absorbing pad 43, thereby the direction of the bag (g) is turned onto the direction turning belt conveyor c2 to drop the bag (g) thereonto.</p> |
