PURPOSE:To make the transfer speed of a flee flow conveyor variable, by journalling a pallette rollers for conveying a pallettet coaxially with a chain roll which is made in frictional contact with a chain roll, and by making a friction roller elevatable between positions where the friction roller is made into contact with and separated from the chain roller. CONSTITUTION:When pallette rollers 34, 34 are made into contact with a roller receiver 35 and roll on the support surface of the roller receiver 35, a friction roller 31 is raised and separated from a chain roller 29 so that the rotation of the friction roller 31 is free from the chain roller 29. Meanwhile, when the roller receiver 35 is slid down to allow the pallette rollers 34 to rotate free from the roller receiver 35, the friction roller 31 and the shaft 32 of the pallette rollers 34 are lowered along elongated holes 33 by their weights and the weight of a pallette 38, and the friction roller 31 is made into contact with the chain roller 29 and therefore, rolls thereon. |
