摘要

PURPOSE:To improve running stability and to stabilize output fluctuation by incorporating ROH (where R denotes an alkyl group of number of carbon atoms in a specific range) and unsatd. chain hydrocarbon of number of carbon atoms in the same range as the number of carbon atoms of R into a top coat film. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic layer may be various kinds of thin continuous film types and consists usually of cobalt or nickel or consists essentially thereof. The magnetic layer consisting essentially of Co and consisting of Co, Co+Ni, Co+O or Co+Ni+O is more preferable. The top coat layer consisting of the alcohol ROH having the alkyl group and unsatd. chain hydrocarbon is formed on the magnetic layer. The number of carbon atoms of the alkyl R of the alcohol in this case is 10-22. The unsatd. chain hydrocarbon is further incorporated in addition to the ROH into the top coat film and the number of carbon atoms thereof are 10-22.
