This tap comprises a cylindrical turning part 4 mounted rotationally in the body 3 of the tap and comprising at least one slot 25 capable of passing in front of a hole 8 for supplying air formed in a body 3 during the rotation of the turning part 4. The slot 25 is formed by an opening made in the lateral wall of the turning part 4 and extending over a given circular arc, its size decreasing from one end of this circular arc to the other. An index 20 interacts with notches formed in the wall of a countersink 9 of the body 3 so as to indicate the air flow rate passing through the slot 25 for a given rotation of the turning part 4. The body 3 of the tap directly passes through the wall 1 of the sealed suit, which ensures good sealing of the tap relative to this wall 1. Application to supplying clean air to sealed garments for working in stagnant environments such as in the chemical and nuclear fields. <IMAGE>
