The invention relates to the hygienic protection of bedding by using a plasticised nonwoven fabric linked to a system for attachment to the mattress. This undersheet or mattress protection is disposable. Among the most advantageous uses may be mentioned: hotels, rest homes, holiday homes, hospitals, clinics, any travel organisation, any domestic use of the invention for protecting bedding.
