PURPOSE:To shorten extremely running-in period of ring, to form rapidly normal running-in layer, and to prolong life of ring and traveller, by combining a traveller having a hardness higher than a hardness of a ring with the ring. CONSTITUTION:A traveller having a hardness higher than a hardness of a ring at part to be slid is combined with the ring, a running-in layer is rapidly formed on the surface of the ring having minute flaws with directional property and continuity, so that life of the ring and the traveller is prolonged. |
