PURPOSE:The titled composition that is obtained by using an epoxy resin, an aluminum compound and a specific silicon compound, thus being suitable for use as an insulating material for electric appliances, because it has good storage stability, cures rapidly, and has good electric properties such as dielectric dissipation factor. CONSTITUTION:The object composition is obtained by using (A) an epoxy resin (preferably an epoxy compound or a mixture there of at least one selected from the group consisting of an acid anhydride, phenolic compound, a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated compound and imide compound, (B) an aluminum compouns and (C) a silicon compound forming silanol groups by irradiation of energy rays, preferably a compound bearing silyl ester or peroxysilyl groups, e.g., a derivative of a carbolyxic acid ester of the formula (X is direct bond, CH2, O, S) and, preferably (D) a senstitizer so that the amount of B to component A is 0.001-10pts.wt. and components C is 0.01-20.
