PURPOSE:To execute easily precise position adjusting work of a gimbal spring for a moving base by constituting a titled device so that the gimbal spring is displaced by moving a moving table in a state that the gimbal spring has been pressed by a needle. CONSTITUTION:First of all, a moving base 4 is installed to a jig 25, an adhesive agent 10 is applied to its prescribed part, a gimbal spring 3 which has held a magnetic head 2 is placed on its part, and in this case, a rod of an air cylinder 23 is extended, and a needle 11 is lifted in advance. Thereafter, the rod of the air cylinder 23 is moved backward, the needle 11 is energized downward by a force of a spring 15, and the upper part of the gimbal spring 3 is pressed down by a sharp tip of the needle 11. In this state, when a rotary table 17 and linear moving tables 18, 19 are moved by fine feed mechanisms 20-22 provided on them, respectively, the needle 11 moves by the same moving extent, and the gimbal spring 3 also moves by following said movement. That is to say, the position and inclination of a head gap 1 can be adjusted precisely as intended on the same plane by the fine feed mechanisms 20-22. |
