PURPOSE:To smooth rise of twist angle and twist torque characteristic and increase absorption performance for torque vibration, by a method wherein a contact area between the end surface of a torsion rubber and seats for torsion rubber brought into contact with the torsion rubber is increased with the increase in a twist angle. CONSTITUTION:In a condition in which a disc is free, a torsion rubber 22 is slightly compressed between two sheets 27 for torsion rubber, and only the central part of a convex end surface 26 is slightly compressed and is brought into contact with the sheets 27. When torque 7 is transmitted to an output shaft through a facing, plate, the rubber 22, a flange, and a spline hub, compression is commenced with the central part of the end surface 26 of the rubber 22, and with the progress of the compression, the pressure receiving area of the end surface 26 is gradually increased. This reduces initial torque to a low value, smoothes rise of twist angle and twist torque characteristics, and improves adsorption performance for torque vibration. |
