PURPOSE:To form a surface having improved water vapor permeability and air permeability, by forming a thin film of an elastic polymer on the surface of a rotary substrate provided with needles having a specific pointed shaped, attaching a sheet coated with an adhesive to the thin film under pressure, releasing the prepared sheet to which the thin film is attached under pressure from the substrate. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a rotatable substrate (e.g., cylinder, etc.) provided with needles in a pointed shape having 0.1-5.0mm. length and 0.1-0.5mm. diameter in a density of >=5/cm<2> is coated with an elastic polymer solution (e.g., polyurethane polymer, etc.) by a knife coater, etc., and a solvent is removed by drying, to form a thin film. A sheet precoated with an adhesive (e.g., polyurethane aqueous emulsion of self-emulsifiable type, etc.) is bonded to the surface of the thin film under pressure. The substrate is released from the sheet to which the thin film is attached under pressure, to give the aimed sheet having formed through holes. EFFECT:Having a beautiful silver face resembling natural leather.
