A timing check system of an engine is provided to achieve improved user convenience by easily checking the timing and assembly state of cylinders after adjusting the timing of top dead center of a first cylinder during assembly of the engine and checking valve timing of each cylinder through reading of the angle indicated on an angle indicator plate. A timing check system of an engine, includes an adapter(12), a socket(16), an angle indicator plate(18), and a pointer. The adapter is coupled to a fly wheel. The socket has a surface on which an inner surface of the adapter is fixed, and a front surface with a socket hole(14) for insertion of a socket wrench. The angle indicator plate is fixed on the socket, and marked with cylinder numbers(42,44) corresponding to the timing of a cylinder. The pointer is mounted on a housing of the engine, and indicates the cylinder numbers marked on the angle indicator plate when a crank shaft rotates.
