PURPOSE:To improve a readout speed in case of reading out successively data of continuous addresses by providing an incrementer/decrementer which can add or subtract successively a numerical value ''1'' to or from the contents of a row address register and a line address register, on the inside of a semiconductor storage device. CONSTITUTION:In case of a continuous readout, a signal SEQ is set to logical ''1''. An incrementer/decrementer 13 becomes operable a numerical value ''1'' is added to the contents of a row address register 3, the contents of the row address register 3 are varied to ''FFH'' from ''FEH'', data of an address ''1AFFH'' is inputted to an output data register 12, and subsequently, when a signal RD has become active, it is outputted to an output data line 7. When the incrementer/decrementer 13 adds a numerical value ''1'' to the contents of the row address register 3 and a carry pulse is outputted, the numerical value ''1'' is added to the contents of a line address register 2. In this way, data of continuous addresses is read out, and after the data of the last address has been read out, the logic of the signal SEQ on an input line 15 is set to ''0''. |
