PURPOSE:To permit the automatic switching to 4-wheel driving state by discharging the pressurized oil having the pressure corresponding to the revolution speed difference from an oil pump and feeding oil into an oil chamber for controlling a clutch in the tangential direction, when a revolution speed difference is generated between a front-wheel side rotary shaft and a rear-wheel side rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:When front wheels 43 and 44 generate slip during the traveling in front-wheel drive, and the revolution speed on the front-wheel output-shaft 4 side increases over that of the rear-wheel output-shaft 6 side, the pressurized oil corresponding to the difference of revolution speed between the both shafts 4 and 6 is supplied into a clutch in a transfer clutch apparatus 13 from an oil pump in the apparatus 13. Therefore, the clutch is engaged in the connection degree generated according to the above-described revolution speed difference, and the revolution speed difference is suppressed, and a torque can be transmitted also to the rear-wheel output-shaft 6 side. Therefore, when the front wheel 43 and 44 idle-revolve, automatic switching to the 4-wheel driving state is performed, and also the rear sheels 52 and 53 are driven, and drive feeling can be improved. |
