PURPOSE:To permit to utilize the shower in spite of whether a bathtub is filled with water or not by a method wherein a contractable valve is operated under a condition that the shower is being used and a communicating tube, communicated with the bathtub, is closed automatically. CONSTITUTION:When the shower is being used, a changeover valve 22 closes a water discharging pipe 21, supplying water flows through a water supplying pipe 17 the contractable valve 11 the communicating pipe 16 the contractable valve 12 and respective contractable valves 11, 12 are extended to close the communicating tubes 8, 9. Then, the pressure of water in the contractable valves 11, 12 becomes higher than a given pressure, a constant pressure valve 20 is pushed to open and flow the water into a heat exchanger 4 through the lower part of a an intermediate chamber 5 and a communicating port 7, the water is heated here by a burner 3 and flowed into the upper part of the intermediate chamber 5 through the upper communicating port 6, thereafter, is flowed into a communicating pipe 23 for the shower. When the use of the shower is stopped, the changeover valve 22 is switched to communicate the contractable valves 11, 12 with the water discharging pipe 21, the contractable valves contract by the restoring forces of themselves and the communicating tubes 8, 9 are opened, therefore, the water circulates between the bathtub 1 and the heat exchanger 4 and the water in the bathtub may be heated. |
