PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent processing capability which magnetizes two short-sized materials simultaneously and to use a space effectively by providing two inside electrodes, which are freely moved from and back to waiting positions in sides, and two outside electrodes which face said inside electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Two inside electrodes 5 whose faces to be brought into contact with materials to be examined are directed toward individual end part sides of an upper beam 3 are provided in the center part of the upper beam 3 of a machine frame which is extended in the direction parallel with the axial line of materials W to be examined. Electrodes 5 are freely moved back and forth for a prescribed extent in the direction parallel with the axial line and are freely moved to waiting positions in sides from positions where electrodes 5 face end faces of materials W to be examined. Two outside electrodes 45 which face inside electrodes respectively are attached to the machine frame so that they are freely moved back and forth for a prescribed extent in the direction parallel with the axial line by moving trucks 40. Faces, which should be brought into contact with materials to be examined, of electrodes 5 are allowed to face one end faces 47 of materials W to be examined. Meanwhile, moving trucks 40 are driven to allow electrodes 45 to face the other end faces 48 of materials W to be examined. Then, electrodes 5 and 45 are press-fitted to end faces 47 and 48 by press-fitting cylinders, and they are magnetized for a prescribed period by power supply. Thus, two short-sized mateials to be examined are magnetized simultaneously by power supply. |
