Plough driving mechanism

A plough driving mechanism with a sprocket wheel for a plough chain and a drive shaft for the sprocket wheel, the sprocket wheel having a secondary rim and the drive shaft having a primary rim while forming a friction clutch in which conical bolt heads are designed as friction segments which are fastened to the coupling bolts and engage in an annular groove of the secondary rim. On either side of the coupling bolts, the friction segments have radial slots of predetermined width and depth running in the peripheral direction. Smooth engagement is thereby acheived during starting and peak forces are removed in the event of overload. <IMAGE>
