PURPOSE:To atomize fuel sufficiently while to achieve quick initial combustion of engine by properly combining the parameters such as the injection angle of air against fuel and the ejection diameter of mixture within some range. CONSTITUTION:The mixture ejection port 7 has the diameter D0 in the range of 2.0-4.2mm. and assuming the diameter of circle having the centers of fuel injection ports 12 is D1, there is the relation 0.76<D0/D1<1.70. Furthermore, there is the relation 60 deg.<theta<180 deg.. It is preferable to arrange many fuel injection ports 12 of small diameter, but the diameter of nozzle body 1 will increase accordingly thereby the effective area of the fuel path 6 is reduced by means of a rod 5. Then the air guide holes 15 are arranged while directing the center line toward the center of fuel injection port 12 and to construct such that the centers of fuel and air injection flows will collide. Consequently, the fuel is distributed uniformly into the spray of mixture. |
