PURPOSE:To manage picture image communication with high reliability including the management of ejection of recording paper at reception side by returning a reception confirming signal at each corresponding page after the ejection of the paper recorded with picture information is detected to the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:The recording paper 1 is wound in a roll and the rolled recording paper 1 is fed to a paper ejection tray 5 via a recording head 3 in a carrying path, a cutter 4, and a sensor 6 for detecting the ejection timing. The timing is set so as to return a reception confirming signal of a picture signal of each page in response to the output of paper ejection detection output and no page reception confirming signal is received at the transmission side until the recording paper is ejected completely at the reception side.
