FIELD: rolled tube production, namely with use of improved-shape striker of roll of pilger mill, possibly in tube die rolling mills. ^ SUBSTANCE: roll length (100%) is divided by three zones. First zone consists 30%, second zone consists up to 65% and third zone is equal to remained part. Concrete reduction values according to striker zones are determined according to relationships: first zone Yi I = b(44 x Xi I -(Xi I)2)/484, second zone Yi II = (Yi I -( Yi I -3)(Xi II - Xmax I)/(Xmax II - Xmax I), third zone Yi III = 3 - 3(Xi III - Xmax II)/(100 - Xmax II) where b = 12 - 16 coefficient taking into account metal yielding of deformed blank; Yi I , Yi II , Yi III - reduction values in first, second and third zones,%; Xi I , Xi II, Xi III - current values of striker length in first, second and third zones, %; Xmax I, Xmax II - current number of given cross section of respective zones. ^ EFFECT: lowered metal consumption, improved efficiency of pilger mill. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
