PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturization in a car instrument and its low-unit cost of production, by unifying a display pattern indicating a car speed and another display pattern operating upon selecting either of a driving distance or an engine speed into one electronic displayer. CONSTITUTION:Provided with each of measuring devices 101-103 measuring a car speed, a driving distance and an engine speed each, each output signal out of these devices is inputted into a display controlling device 106 together with an output signal out of a select switch 105. In addition, a displayer 104 being provided with a first display pattern 104a displaying the car speed with a digital like and a second display pattern 104b capable of displaying both the driving distance and the engine speed with the same digital like is installed. And, this displayer 104 is controlled so as to make the display pattern 104a display the speed with the display controlling device 106 as well as to make the second display pattern 104b display either of the driving distance or the engine speed according to operation of the select switch 105. |
