PURPOSE:To improve the sealing performance between a high pressure receiving ring and a turning scroll while to reduce leakage of gas from high pressure chamber and to improve the capacity of compressor by inserting a seal ring through a resilient member into the seal ring groove made in the high pressure receiving ring. CONSTITUTION:A seal ring groove 45 is made in the sliding face of a high pressure receiving ring 40 along the inner and outercircumferential sides of high pressure chamber 43 then a resilient member or an O-ring 46 is inserted into the lower section of said seal ring 45 and a seal ring 47 is inserted through said O- ring 46 into the upper section. With such structure, the seal ring 47 is repelled by the O-ring 46 and energized to be pressure contacted against the back face 34 of a turning scroll 27 continuously. Consequently, the sealing performance between the turning scroll 27 and the high pressure receiving ring 40 is improved to reduce the leakage of high pressure gas from the high pressure chamber 43 as low as possible resulting in improvement of the compressor capacity.
