PURPOSE:To permit to incorporate a blow-off port device into the air-conditioning machine compactly without reducing the width of a blow-off port by a method wherein the driving shaft of a driving device, driving the airflow deflecting device, is mounted so as to be directed toward the blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:The driving device or a motor 13 is mounted so that the side of the driving shaft 31 is directed toward the blow-off port 4. Rorating torque, generated by the motor 13, is converted into a reciprocating motion by a crank 14 and a slide rod 21 while the reciprocating motion of the slide rod 21 is transmitted to an airflow deflecting panel 29 since a lever 24 is pivoted about a pivotal point 32 and the direction of the reciprocating motion is changed by it. A plurality of airflow deflecting panels 29 are connected through a connecting rod 28, therefore, the direction of the airflow may be changed automatically by the airflow deflecting panels 29.
