PURPOSE:To improve the symmetrical weight balance of a wheel supporting system ever so better, by setting up a disc brake and an antilock control unit at symmetrical both sides of a wheel in an opposite manner. CONSTITUTION:In case of a braking device for a front wheel 2 of a motorcycle, a hub 8 of the front wheel 2 is supported on an axle 10 installed in position between lower ends of a symmtrical pair of leg bodies 9a and 9b constituting a front fork 9 via a bearing 11. And, a disc, brake 3b is constituted of a brake disc 12 being tightly attached to a left and face of the hub 8 and a brake caliper 14 being supported on the left body 9a at the left in a state of lying astride the disc 12. In addition, an antilock control unit 7 is locked to a fixed panel 24 attached to the top of the axle 10 so as to close a concave part 8a at the left end of the hub 8 with a bolt 25, while a driving shaft 42 of the said unit 7 and the hub 8 are connected via a wrapping connector device 48.
