PURPOSE:To arrange a collecting unit storing optional circuits without limiting a connection point to a device body and to attain the automatic address assignment of a collecting unit storing circuit by providing a reference address storing means, etc. CONSTITUTION:The reference address storing means 1 consists of registers, inputs and stores reference address information sent through a data bus DB and outputs the stored contents. In this case, an address to be assigned to the leading circuit of plural circuits stored in the collecting unit is selected as the reference address. The reference address is added to the number of circuits to be stored in the collecting unit set up in a circuit number setting means 2 by an adder to calculate the reference address of a collecting unit arranged in the succeeding stage. Thus, prescribed reference addresses are successively stored in the reference address storing means 1, so that the collecting unit can be arranged without limiting the connection point to the device body and the automatic address assignment of the collecting unit storing circuit can be attained.
