PURPOSE:To diagnoze the abnormality generating state of plural measuring instruments automatically at a proper time by forming a host computer to which an external storage device storing measuring and self-diagnosis programs, etc. CONSTITUTION:Plural measuring instruments 12 are connected to the host computer 11 through a communication cable. The external storage device 13 is also connected to the host computer 11 and the measuring and self-diagnosis programs which are to be supplied to the instruments 12, files recording the abnormal history results of respective instruments 12, etc. are stored in the device 13. The computer 11 is controlled so as to execute a self-diagnosis starting command program every fixed period on the basis of an output from a time 14. Namely, the computer 11 specifies the self-diagnosis start automatically to each instrument 12 at a specified date to monitor the diagnosis executing state. Thus, the abnormality generating state of plural measuring instruments can be automatically diagnozed at a proper time. |
