摘要 The first application sets the train on normal rails by means of holders on an air cushion so that it can hover. By means of grooves in the surface, near to the ground, of the holders, a path is provided through which the compressed air of the air cushion is forced out of the air cushion around many corners, which saves energy. Likewise, for the same reason, the air is guided around a sharp corner once more before leaving the air cushion. The underside of the train is designed in such a way that it resembles a funnel so that the inflowing air stream is compressed and slightly lifts up the train so that it can hover on the second air cushion produced in this way, which saves energy for the production of the air cushion on the holders. Rapidly rotating threaded tubes are to protrude into this air cushion, suck the air backwards and thus provide propulsion = drive for the train, this is reversed for braking. Air columns are to permit rapid starting and landing on air as a result of vertical, rotating threaded tubes. Likewise, rotating threaded tubes are to suck air up from the direction of the side wind in order to produce a particularly good lateral stabilisation.
