PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of hardware for the entire network by using bit numbers to a voice signal to process entirely serial/parallel conversion and units of parallel conversion to an input highway of a network. CONSTITUTION:Voice and dial signals of subscriber telephone sets 1-1-1-l are given respectively to subscriber circuits 2-1-2-l, the voice signal is multiplexed by a multiplexing circuit 3-1 and the dial signal is multiplexed by a multiplexing circuit 4-1. An 8-bit signal of the circuits 3-1, 4-1 is converted into an 8-bit parallel signal by a serial/parallel converting circuit 10 via multiplex highways 5-1. 6-1. A required parallel conversion processing is executed by a T switch 11, the 8-bit voice signal is converted into a serial signal via a parallel/serial conversion circuit 12 and transmitted to a multiplex highway 8. The 8-bit dial signal via the switch 11 is led to a dial pulse reception circuit 9. |
