PURPOSE:To easily load and unload a recording medium and to eliminate the fruitless time previously required for moving a magnetic bias adding device, by providing a clamping member which loads and unloads the recording medium and a means which brings the magnetic bais adding device nearer to and farther from the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When a movable table 12 is at a position 12, a recording medium 1 is pushed by a clamping member 9 and loaded onto a receiving member 5 and magnetic bias adding device 13 is brought nearer to the recording medium 1. When the clamping member 9 rotates clockwise around a pin 11, the device 13 is separated from the medium 1 by means of a hanging member 20 and the medium 1 is also separated upward from the member 5. When the movable table is at another position 16, recording and reproduction of the outermost section of the medium 1 are performed. Because of the hanging member 20 provided in this invention, the magnetic bias adding device 13 at an optional position can be brought nearer to and farther from the recording medium 1 without providing any other means and, therefore, the moving time of the device 13 can be reduced with a small-sized device. |
