DETECTING DEVICE OF LOADED LIQUID SORT ON TANK LORRY

PURPOSE:To prevent the misunderstanding of a worker and a misoperation and to avoid the risks of an ignition during a detecting work, etc. by providing a liquid sort identifying sensor in each tank room and by detecting correctly and easily the sort of a liquid so as to identify directly the liquid sort with the reflection of a light. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting source 4, light detecting sensor 5 and optical cable 6 communicating with a light among those are fitted to a vehicle 3 loading a tank 2 consisting of plural tank rooms 1. A liquid sort identifying sensor 7 is installed on the way of the cable 6 of the inside of each tank room. The sensor 7 pays an attention to the optical nature (for instance the refractive index) owned by the liquid to be loaded being varied by the liquid sort and detects the liquid sort from the differential degrees thereof. The sensor 7 thus detects the liquid sort directly from the liquid loaded and the reflection of the light of the detecting signal thereof is transduced into an electrical signal by the sensor 5 and inputted into a controlling means 10 and displayed or memorized.
