PURPOSE:To reduce the fatigue of inspector's eyes, by making it possible to perform inspection in the optimum illumination state corresponding to a painting color by changing the luminous intensity of an illuminator at every painting color of an article to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:When the painting color detection signal of a car body is outputted from a painting color detection sensor 8, a painting color signal is outputted to a data memory circuit 12 through a painting color signal output circuit 11. Herein, fluorescent lamps 6, 7 are brought to a light conditioning state by a light conditioning apparatus 13 having a data memory part and said light conditioning apparatus 13 allows the data memory part to stored illumination data corresponding to painting color data and receives the painting color signal from a painting color signal generator 10 through the data memory apparatus 12 to make it possible to automatically adjust the fluorescent lamps 6, 7 to the luminous intensity corresponding to the painting color. Therefore, if a painting color regulating variable resistor 14 and a memory button 15 are operated, the optimum luminous intensity corresponding to the painting color can be set at every inspector and inspection can be performed under the illumination with the optimum luminous intensity. |
