The invention relates to an arrangement for regulating web tensions in a device for transporting a web of elastic material, which is under tension, via a series of driven rollers. The invention consists in that, when disturbances are having an effect, to keep set web tension values constant, or to modify set web tension values within predetermined ranges, it is possible to subject roller drives or groups of roller drives (8) which are adjacent in each case to oppositely-directed correcting variables (4). The evaluation of the correcting variables takes place in accordance with the number of roller drives in a group.
