EXCRETION DRYING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY

PURPOSE:To prevent a bad smell and to make it possible to efficiently perform drying, by forming a wavy uneven surface of piled-up excretion. CONSTITUTION:The floor 2 of a charging part has a gradient in the direction opposite to the advance direction of excretion and the peripheral partition wall thereof is provided with a large number of slits 5 so as to be capable of transmitting only separated moisture. In the range provided with the slits 5, a transmitted water recovery groove 6 coming to a supernatant solution flow passage is provided and constitutes a part of the flow passage provided so as to be guided to a purification tank 8 through a manhole 7. Lime treated excretion containing a large amount of moisture is thrown in the deepest part of a pile-up drying part. Only moisture is flowed into the recovery groove 6 from the slit of the partition wall 3 and guided to the purification tank 8 through the manhole. The piled-up excretion on the floor 2 is gradually dried by a fan.
