Device for use in bladder disorders in men

The device is used to control the outflow of urine in men with bladder disorders. The device has a hose-like basic body consisting of an elastomeric material and comprises an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The device is pulled over the penis of the man and has an attachment valve whose hose-like basic body is a retaining part to be fastened on the glans of the penis. It is provided with a sealable closure piece comprising the outlet opening. The closure piece can be opened and closed by the patient. The patient can thereby control the outflow of urine. If the closure piece is closed the urine can build up from the closed outlet opening back to the urinary bladder which can thus be used as a urine store just as in healthy people. The device can be worn permanently by the patient because it does not have to be inserted in the urethra.
