In a method for making a plurality of building blocks with porous concrete in a multicavity mould, wherein the filling mass for a single casting operation to fill the multicavity mould is distributed in dosing chambers before it is fed to the multicavity mould, there is provided in order to accelerate the filling process and to avoid the clogging and therefore to avoid the cleaning operations which delay the fabrication process, to exactly flush fill the dosing chambers (3) by scraping off the material in excess. A plant for the filling of the multicavity mould with dosing chambers, as well as a sliding plate for its closure arranged on the lower side and capable of releasing the dosing chambers downwardly by means of passage openings, is so provided that above the dosing chambers (3) there is arranged a distribution cabinet (11) displaceable on the dosing chambers, which distribution cabinet (11) has an opening on its lower side and bears with its lower side on the upper side of the dosing chambers.
