PURPOSE:To obtain a toner capable of providing a distinct picture image by providing a coated layer contg. a sublimable color developing dye on the surface of heat resistant nuclear particles contg. magnetic particles or coated with magnetic particles, forming a color image on transfer paper after developing the electrostatic latent image, and removing thereafter the nuclear particles. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic toner for color copy is prepd. by forming a layer of resin contg. a sublimable color developing dye on the surface of heat resistant particulate nuclear body 1 comprising a crosslinked org. polymer contg. magnetic particles (shown by black points) or on the surface of particles provided with a heat resistant coating layer 4 on the surface of heat resistant particulate nuclear body 3 comprising a crosslinked org. polymer, wherein said resin is one such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyester, etc. which is not adhered to a master plate or image receiving paper at the temp. of sublimation of the dye, A sheet of the image receiving paper 5 is superposed on a master plate which has been developed with such toner, and a developer contained in the image receiving paper 5 is coupled with the sublimable dye by heating, and the particulate nuclear body 1 is removed thereafter with a cleaning brush 6. Thus, a distinct color image is obtd. |
