PURPOSE:To prepare low-priced artificial cork having quality feeling like that of cork by crushing material wood into chips or wooden powder, then, bleaching, adhering and molding them. CONSTITUTION:Material wood is crushed into chips or wooden powder and, then, bleaching them. When the wooden chips are bleached, as textually weak wood part is likely to be more powdered than textually strong wood part. Before the chips are bleached, surface difference could not be found between the rough area 1 and the dense area 2 of the wood but after bleaching the surface of the rough area 1 is deteriorated remarkably and sinks 3 to make the material denser or rougher. The chips obtained is dyed, adhered and molded as occasion demands. The artificial cork material obtained can express the surface properties of the natural cork and quality feeling like that of cork can be obtained. |
