PURPOSE:To support stably the blank pipe under rolling and to perform a smooth rolling by arranging one side of a roller shoe to the side of one part of a rolling roll and the other part of a roller shoe to the side of the other part of a rolling roll. CONSTITUTION:A roller shoe 16A positioned in the rotating progress direction for the rolling zone 15 of one part of a rolling roll 14A in an inclining rolling mill 13 is arranged to the side of one part of the rolling roll 14A. A roller shoe 16B positioned in the rotating progress direction for the rolling zone 15 of the other part of a rolling roll 14B is arranged to the side of the other part of the rolling roll 14B. By reducing, therefore, the gap between the rolling roll 14 in the revolution progressing direction of the rolling roll 14 and the roller shoe 16, a thin blank pipe is rolled smoothly. |
