The method lines leaking pipes internally, using two rubber hoses, between which spring steel strips are vulcanised at intervals. This generates the necessary pressure against the pipe inside wall. - Before the hose assembly is inserted it is folded together in the lengthwise direction and secured by an external thread, strip or sleeve. This is cut away after insertion to allow it to expand under spring action against the inside wall.(1) |
