PURPOSE:To remove amplitude distortion of reproduced low band conversion color signals even when there is some flucturation in the level and threshold value of written signals and to make FM modulation and demodulation unnecessary by restricting the amplitude of added electric signals and recording said signals in a light disk after photoelectric conversion. CONSTITUTION:Color signals are converted to low frequencies by a frequency converting circuit 11 and supplied to an adder circuit 13 as low frequency conversion color signals. On the other hand, luminance signals are FM-modulated by an FM modulating circuit 12 and supplied to the adder circuit 13. The circuit 13 sends an addition signal to an amplitude restricting circuit 14. The amplitude restricted signal is photoelectrically converted by a light head 15, and recorded on a light disk 16.
